Last week was a total nightmare, full scale work load on my day job and some freelancing in the evenings.

So that weekend I had to do my own thing; what is better than a toon of a drifting Ford Escort mkII RS2000? I wanted to draw an Escort mkII for sooo long! :)

Sketched from scratch (2-3 weeks ago), scanned, pen-tooled (inked) and colored in Photoshop within... hmmm.... 14-18 hours.

Everything was done by me except the logos, which I found them from here: [link]

Very NICE! I remember you sent me the line work to look at (before we both got TOO busy!) a few weeks ago... I love it!

I especially like your treatment of the headlights (reflection and gloss) and the logos! My "Lotus" logos were an experiment and not as readable as yours here. :)

Well - if I did it in Vector it would've been clearer - but THANKS :)....

It was ridiculously simple once I figured it out, btw - what you don't get to see is all the monstrosities that came before;)

That's one sweet piece of work! Love the graphics effect in the background too. That's something I really need help with (my creativity for backgrounds is terrible.)
